Talk to Lalee Leewaylender in the Fleatown Market (H9) and ask him about how to get reach (in exchange for 1 tiny diamond).

Lalee Leewaylender will tell the player that there are twelve luxury chairs in Grand Chien, one of which contains the hidden necklace.
The chairs can be found in the following locations:

- Fosse Noire Mine (C7 Underground)
- Pantagruel Slums (D7)
- Pantagruel Downtown (D8)
- Camp Grand Prix (D10)
- Camp Savane (F7)

The location of the necklace is random.
After acquiring the necklace it can be sold to Lalee or given to Maman Lilian in Pantagruel Slums (D7).

The quest takes inspiration from the 1928 novel The Twelve Chairs (Russian: Двенадцать стульев, tr. Dvenadtsat stulyev) by the Soviet authors Ilya Ilf and Yevgeny Petrov. Its plot follows characters attempting to obtain jewelry hidden in one of the twelve chairs from the family's dining-room set.
