St. Anthony is a fictional island where Jagged Alliance: Rage! takes place.

St. Anthony is home to primarily a population of natives who make up the majority of the population with the foreign mercenaries and Elliot sticking out like a sore thumb.
While there is no sign of any issues with the island pre-Elliot's takeover, (aside from an easter egg involving a crashed UFO) most of the Island's water supplies are tainted with Bliss as part of Elliot's twisted experiments, leaving the island's populace struggling with access to clean water.

Considering that St. Anthony is a real Canadian island and the fact it's only called it by an Commander sarcastically welcoming the A.I.M. mercenaries when capturing them, it's likely not actually the island's name and more of the Commander being sarcastic and a nod to the fact that the original developers Sir-Tech were from Canada, however there is never a single time either in-game or marketing that the Island's real name is actually mentioned.
