Use[]
- The SKS can be used as a sniper rifle until Dragunov becomes available. Once the superior weapons are in stock, the SKS can be sold to merchants in San Mona , Balime, and Cambria.
- For gamers, who like to use AKM assault rifles, the SKS-armed enemy soldiers are good sources of 7.62mm WP ammunition. They usually drop two or three 10-round magazines, which can be combined by loading an AKM or Type 85. The weapon's magazine has to be emptied to do so.
Locations[]
- Random sectors/enemies. Most commonly those can be pickpocketed rather than taken from corpses.
- At least one SKS can be found in Alma Military Base sectors.
- Another one is dropped by one of the SAM Site guards south to Chitzena.
