Locations[]

  • One can be found in the back-room of the church in Drassen.
  • Multiple members of the Hicks family carry these, and more can be found in their weapons arsenal.
  • Random sectors/enemies.

Tips & tricks[]

  • Just like most of 12-gauge shotguns, the M870 lacks good range. It is best used during night combat by camouflaged mercs with Sneaky trait and/or Agility at least 80, so they can approach the enemy from behind and exploit the weapon's power.
  • Another use is to deploy the Remington against Bloodcats. Since the felines lack a ranged attack, two rested and not encumbered mercs with Remington shotguns have chances of dispatching a single Bloodcat before it comes too close. The main drawback of this tactics is that Bloodcats usually attack in packs, therefore assault rifles with HP ammunition perform better.

Jagged Alliance: Online variants[]

  • the Junk variant
  • two Common variants (Level 28 and Level 33)
  • the Uncommon variant
  • the Assault 870 (Rare) variant
  • 870's Liberty (PvP) variant

Trivia[]

  • Most of the variants from Jagged Alliance:Online are apparently the compact variants of the Remington 870 with foldable metal stock, with the sole exception of the Junk variant (a sawed-off weapon) and the 870's Liberty, the only solid-stock version seen in the game.
  • The Junk variant was a Loot weapon, while the remaining versions could be bought by the player.
