The Red Scare is an assault rifle, which appears in Jagged Alliance Online. It is an epic variant of M-16.

- This M-16 variant seems to be the M-16A1 rifle used in the Vietnam War rather than the more modern M-16A2. The hints are the shorter straight magazine for 20 rounds instead the 30-round arch-shaped magazine and older pattern of the gun cover.
