RDX is a component used in conjunction with explosives to increase their destructive power. Turns TNT and C-1 into HMX and C-4 , respectively. It can also be used as an explosive thrown weapon on its own.

"A jar filled with RDX crystals is more powerful than TNT and easier to detonate. The only drawback of RDX is its instability; it can be set off by a moderate shock."

Notes[]
- While you cannot attach a detonator to the RDX, it can be detonated by either placing it on the ground near the target and setting off another explosive (ie a grenade) near it, or just thrown at the target. When used in the second way, the RDX jar will explode upon impact.
- Being extremely unstable, RDX will detonate should a merc carrying it get caught into even small explosition such as from Land Mine or Mini Grenade.
