The M1 Carbine is a rifle introduced in Jagged Alliance: Online. Seven variants did exist in the game.
Variants[]
- Level 10 Common Variant
- The Junk Variant
- Level 35 Common Variant
- Level 40 Common-I Variant
- The Uncommon Variant
- Two M2 (Rare) Variants (Level 38 and Level 43)
Notes[]
- The real-life M1 carbine dealt less damage than the in-game version, for it used special low-power 7.62x33mm (0.30 Carbine) rounds designated for the weapon. Those had lower stopping power than the M1 Garand rifle had. The in-game variants are apparently using standard 7,62mm ammunition, which would have been too large round for the real-life weapon.
- The Common-tier variants are apparently the M1A1 model with foldable stock, designed for paratroopers. The Junk variant is the actual M1 variant with solid stock.
- The in-game M2 variants seem to be a commercially-made post-World War 2 carbines with foldable stocks and no burst mode. Actual M2 carbines were built with wooden stocks and selective fire mode, but without sniper scopes nor bipods. However, there was a M2 carbine with an active infra-red scope system - the M3 carbine. 20-round magazines were not used for weapons from this family.
