Keys come in two forms normal keys and padlock keys. Jagged Alliance 2 introduced key cards, which are used to open doors in bases.
Locations[]
- Random sectors or missions dropped by certain enemies or found anywhere. Keys can't be pick-pocketed.
Jagged Alliance 2[]
- Keys are typically used to lock doors from access in the game. Crates and boxes are barely secured this way.
- Most of mercs can carry keys with themselves without encumbering the invetory. The key panel is accessible from the inventory screen - it requires clicking a key icon and the key panel with slots will appear. The merc with proper key will automatically use it through the order widget.
Jagged Alliance 2 V.1.12[]
- Skipper in Estoni will give a key card in return for giving him any item (damaged weapons will suffice).
