Storyline
The island of Metavira was the site of a series of chemical and nuclear warfare experiments during the Cold War. Scientists Jack Richards and his daughter Brenda discovered that the Metaviran Fallow Tree produced sap that would cure any disease. The problem was that the trees would only grow on Metavira and on top of that, they couldn't reproduce.
One of their employees, Lucas Santino, realized how unique and valuable the trees were. Santino hired an army of mercenaries, killed the staff at the research facility, intimidated the natives, and soon began controlling the island. To protect the island and its valuable resource the Richards hired A.I.M. to take it back.
To complicate things further, the Fallow Trees were later threatened with a blight that could wipe out the unique trees and their life-giving sap forever.
