The second 5.56mm rifle which appears in game. It is a lot better than the HK5 until the middle of the game, while still being a good choice in the late game for close quarter battles. Effectively a heavy submachinegun, the Commando is capable of mounting rifle accessories on it.

  • One of the building in Cambria, in the commercial district, holds one of these along with (most of the time) an AK-74, some ammo and some grenades (either stun, 40mm HE or frag) on a workbench. It can be recognized by its sliding door. Approach with caution, as this building is sturdily locked and trapped.

Tips & Tricks[]

Most of the time, you should keep it in burst fire mode, as it's most accurate that way. Fully automatic fire is only recommended if you want to force the enemy into a crouching or lying position, and this should only be done from close-medium range. Also, if you do this, be sure to fire as much rounds as you can.
