Enrico Chivaldori was the son of the elected monarch of Arulco, Andreas Chivaldori. In 1988, he married the beautiful Deidranna Reitman in order to increase his popularity and defeat his rival, Miguel Cordona in the upcoming election. After he won, Deidranna framed him for the death of his father and ordered his execution. He faked his death and fled.
In the beginning of Jagged Alliance 2 Enrico hires The Commander (the player's character) to hire, train, and lead a force of mercenaries in Arulco, defeat the Queen's forces, and restore him to his throne.
