The Compound 18 is an item from Jagged Alliance 2. It is used to improve protection on suits of armor. It is applied on a suit of armor currently worn by a merc using the inventory panel in the Tactical Screen.

Locations[]
- Sector F8 in Cambria, inside the hospital.
- Sector D2, SAM Site south to Chitzena. Two doses in the southernmost building.
- Random sectors with buildings. Single doses can be found inside even farm buildings.
- Can often be found in Jake Cameron's junk shop in Estoni (condition below 90%)
- Bobby Ray's Guns and Things (barely appears in V.1.12).

- Spectra Leggings to Compound 18 Spectra Leggings.
- The condition of the Compound 18 can doesn't matter. Even cans in condition below 50% used on armor suits result in successful merger.
- Cannot be used simultaneously with Royal Jelly. When the Compound is applied on the suit of armor already treated with the Jelly, it always causes the armor to break, just like a reverse combination.
- Pieces of armor from the Kevlar and the Spectra set are called in game files "KEVL-18" and "SPEC-18" respectively after reinforcing them with Compound 18. The evidence is in the gallery below.
- The side effect of using the Compound 18 on each armor piece is slight increase in weight.

Reinforced Guardian Vest used as the base od this Kevlar-18 set. The protection is significantly better than with the basic Kevlar Vest.
