- Just like all the coated pieces of armor, the coated helmet can only be created in the Sci-Fi gameplay mode or obtained by using the JAPE editor.
- A good protective headgear for mercs with low Strength, such as Biff Apscott or Florence "Flo" Gabriel, since it offers good protection for low weight.
