Gus informs you that from the previous mission that the map you picked up reveals the full DFk headquarters and personnel positions. He will as to join your team. You may like to accept since he comes for free and has a modified M-16 with him in pretty good condition. However, Gus has average agility affecting his movements though he still is a good shot. The map shows you are in a Metavira-like terrain. Gus informs you most enemies are in the four western and eastern rectangular buildings but that is not always true. Most may be congregated in the south-western building and they are the toughest to kill.
There are nine small rectangular buildings in the center and Gus tells you they are sleeping quarters. In the top row, the building second front the leftcontains money and in the third row, there's also money inside the small building on the right. However your merc will trip a switch - even if he or she has high explosive stats - and by the next turn, buried explosives on paths will detonate. Dfk personnel can be found in these sleeping quarters and will shoot at your team through the windows.
Arm your mercs with the best M-16s and M-14s, modified if you can. Give those with the best dexterity and agility the best grenades or all kinds, especially hand grenades since your aim is to kill. Bring along first aid kits or medical kits as you shouldn't bother to find those. Bring a mortar and mortar shells if you have repaired the former from mission 26 and you have some of the latter. That is pretty usedful against either of the four western and eastern buildings.
Unlike was Gus says, you team starts in a north-east clearing. Deploy your mercs into two teams. One travels south down the eastern path the other moves along the treeline or northern path. For the eastern team, deploy them so you can snipe the Dfk guys through the windows in the first north-eastern building. Others should watch out for a Dfk guy named Campton who has high healthy and definitely wearing a treated Spectra Vest. Don't let him run away and make sure you have enough ammo and grenades to kill him. You should ideally have mercs with good to high explosive stats as Gus told you, there are mines and explosives all along the walkways and grounds. Eastern team should have an easy time, watch out from attacks from the open spaces and don't use low agility mercs for building entry, windows or corners.
The western team will face tougher DfKs forces from the open, small buildings and the two larger buildings. Use mercs armed with hand grenades or a mortar to maim groups or use the mortar against the two main buildings - your mortar-armed merc however will not always fire accurate or will tell you he or she can't take the shot. Make you check all the smaller buildings as well. One all DFk personnel are killed, it's done. You may suffer loads of injuries though.
