Locations[]

Jagged Alliance 2[]

  • Random sectors/enemies.
  • Bobby Ray's Guns and Things - depending on Difficulty level and game settings. Usually appears after conquering three settlements.
  • Can be bought randomly from traders. Tony and Franz Hinkle may have one or two in stock, in vared conditions.
  • Miguel Cordona has such weapon with himself.

Notes[]

Jagged Alliance 2[]

  • This Kalashnikov rifle wears off slower than AK-74, even when using burst fire mode.
  • The AKM is indeed a reliable weapon. It wears off slowly and is the easiest assault rifle to repair in original Jagged Alliance 2. Ammunition for AKM can be picked from SKS, Type 85, and Dragunov, which means it is pretty abundant in the game.

Jagged Alliance: Back in Action[]

  • The Back in Action variant is equipped with foldable stock and more modern-looking finish than its predecessor, AK-47.

Jagged Alliance: Online[]

  • Two variants exist in the game, both labeled as Rare - one without an additional front grip and another one with the front grip and different rear sight.

Tips & Tricks[]

Jagged Alliance 2[]

  • Due to weapon's reliability and abundance of the 7.62mm WP ammunition, the AKM can be given to mediocre-skilled mercs, so they can develop Marksmanship in combat by attacking enemies with burst mode.
