Use[]
Jagged Alliance and Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games[]
Found in both JA1 and JA:DG, the .38 has low range, low power, takes a lot of AP to use and is an all round horrible weapon. Exchange it with any other pistol found. The ammunition is very common.
Once better weapons are available, it's best to drop .38 with ammo, as traders do not offer much for those pistols.
Jagged Alliance 2[]
This revolver has all the flaws seen in JA1 and JA:DG versions. The pros do not compensate for the weapon's overall lack of effectiveness.
The weapon itself and ammunition are available at the start of the game, when mercs are low-level. As the player progresses and better weapons can be found, the .38 revolvers and ammunition for them become gradially rare.
